Computer laboratory “Nikolaos Vernikos-Eugenides”

in the Merchant Marine Academy of Crete

The upgrade of the computer laboratory of the Merchant Marine Academy of Crete, a donation of the Eugenides Foundation-Marianthi Simou Legacy, is completed.

The Eugenides Foundation-Marianthi Simou Legacy, in the frame of its long term and uninterrupted contribution to the maritime education in Greece, responded promptly to the request of the Commander of the Merchant Marine Academy of Crete, Captain Christos Kouvatsos, by donating 18 computers and computer monitors for the upgrade of the computer laboratory of the Academy.

The laboratory was named after the late Nikolaos Vernikos-Eugenides, a great figure in worldwide shipping, as this year marks the 20th anniversary of his death.
