What is the connection between a hive, a piece of code, mathematics and a dome?
There is absolute connection!
Computational design is the state of the art for architectural design. It is a method of designing things through programming using different parameters as inputs, like the mechanical strength of materials of the construction, the materials’ properties, even different geometrical patterns that exist in nature such as hives or anthills. During this workshop, participants will be introduced to computational design and how it can change the way buildings are designed and constructed. Like the modern architects, they will combine basic engineer principals, mathematics and programming in order to create a geodesic dome using the TinkerCad CodeBlocks application.
The workshop is conducted in the Greek language.
