Easter workshop with candles!
How can I put out a candle without blowing it out?
How can we create a candle swing?
Is it possible for a balloon to become fireproof?
In this workshop the children will encounter concepts such as heat and gas pressure but also with the chemical definition of combustion. Through experiments and crafts with candles, children will set objects in motion and learn to recognize some of the properties of gases related to pressure and heat. In addition, they will light and put out candles in different, creative ways! The aim of this workshop is for children to discover the physical and chemical phenomena associated with burning candles, but also to experiment and develop their skills in a fun and experiential way!
Reservation is required at 210 9469641, Monday to Friday, 9:30-16:30, as well as completing the formal declaration and sending it to logistics@eef.edu.gr.
