What is life? Meet the function of life

What distinguishes living from nonliving entities? How does the fundamental building unit of life look in different kind of organisms? How do living creatures obtain the energy required for survival?

How do organisms remain alive?

Through this science show, students are introduced, in an interesting and interactive way, to fundamental concepts about life. They observe different type of cells through the microscope and discover properties of some of their parts. Through experiment demonstrations students can discover the functions of photosynthesis, digestion, substance transportation and respiration.
