25/6, 26/6, 27/6, 28/6 - 17:00-18:30
In this series of four workshops, we are going to develop our own interactive game! We will learn how to program the microbit microcontrollers so that they will be able to assign to us random identities and roles, track the different voting, bluff and all the other participants/players. In conclusion, we will get to know basic concepts of programming, mechatronics and classic role-playing games. No previous experience is required.
The workshop is conducted in the Greek language.
Session 1:
Introduction to microbit.
Differences of a microcontroller from a microprocessor.
Familiarity with the concepts of input, process, output, communication, software, and current flow.
Session 2:
We learn how microbits communicate with each other securely. Dice game simulation.
Session 3:Introduction to wireless communication and peer to peer and server client concepts.
Treasure hunt game simulation.
Session 4:
Simulation of the game "Night falls on Palermo" with microbit
