Get informed about the Library's printed and digital collections and how to use them

The Library's collections, both printed and digital, focus on the fields of Technical and Maritime Education, Science and New technologies, with complementary coverage of basic titles in the Humanities, Social Sciences and Literature. In addition, the library has a remarkable youth collection, which includes books for young people, from all its subject categories.

Bibliographic records of all library material are searchable from its online catalogue (OPAC), which can be found on the Foundation's website.

Rich material on the use of the electronic catalogue can be found at the section What the OPAC offers me here.

Detailed information and illustrative videos on the features and services offered from OPAC, as well as on basic general issues of information searching and evaluation, can be found here in Greek.

The Library's journal catalogue is also searchable from the National Union Catalogue of Scientific Journals, given that the Library is a member of the National Documentation Center's Network of Science and Technology Libraries. This Catalogue enables interested parties to locate which Greek library holds a journal, as well as to view the entire collection of a library from those that participate.

The printed and digital collections of the library are available to its members for use within its premises. In addition:

- Printed books are also available for lending.
- The lending service excludes periodicals, information books (such as encyclopedias, dictionaries), series volumes, rare editions, as well as such printed material clearly marked with a yellow sticker.
- For the majority of digital material, remote access is also available.
